The Feminine Touch Women in Baltimore History

Join Baltimore historian and educator Wayne R. Schaumburg for an illustrated talk entitled  The Feminine Touch  –  Women in Baltimore History.
The program will focus on the period from 1776 to 1960 and will include both famous and not-so-famous women who have made their mark in Baltimore. They include Mary Katherine Goddard, Elizabeth Patterson, Mary Pickersgill, Mary Elizabeth Lange, Frances Ellen Watkins Harper, Henrietta Szold, Harriet Lane Johnston, Mary Elizabeth Garrett, Lizette Woodworth Reese, Etta Haynie Maddox, Lillie Carroll Jackson, the Cone sisters, Marie Bauernschmidt, and others.
