This year we’ll celebrate Flag Day on Saturday, June 12th. Outdoor crafts and activities, Flag House tours, costumed interpreters and more. Boy and Girl Scouts who wear their uniforms get in free!

Blues to Bluegrass Concert Series- The Moonlighters

The Flag House is happy to be bringing back our successful Blues to Bluegrass concert series on our lawn. Come out and enjoy authentic sound and warm summer nights- for FREE!
We are proud to welcome The Moonlighters for our first concert date.
“First Place Winners of the 1995 DC Blues Battle, The Moonlighters are seasoned masters of the authentic downhome blues. Having appeared an unprecedented seven times at the KennedyCenter, their talented musicians play with a rare soulfulness and time period feel that harkens back to the Golden Age of 1940’s West Coast “jump blues” and the early Chicago blues of the 1950’s.”

Ice Cream Social 2010!

August is ice cream time, so there’s no better time to hold our annual Ice Cream Social! Join us for an afternoon of fun that includes free ice cream, musical entertainment, face painting, balloon twisting and more! Hosted by The Star-Spangled Banner Flag House, The Reginald F. Lewis Museum, The Jewish Museum of Maryland and Carroll Museums Inc. Held on the Flag House lawn.
